Terms of use and privacy policy
Updated on April 30, 2026
These terms govern the use of Bibleeasy (also distributed as BibliFácil in Portuguese) — referred to from here on as “the platform”. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to what's written here.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you're using it on behalf of an institution (parish, school, community), you confirm you have authority to bind that institution.
2. Your account
To use the platform you create an account with a valid name and email. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The platform is intended for adult users preparing biblical content for children, not for children directly.
3. Permitted use
You may use the platform to generate, read, download, and share Bible adaptations according to your plan. You MAY NOT:
• resell, sublicense, or redistribute adaptations as your own product;
• use the platform to create content that offends, manipulates, indoctrinates abusively, or harms people;
• try to bypass billing limits or share an account with third parties;
• automate content extraction (scraping etc.) without authorization.
4. Payment and subscriptions
Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly or yearly subscriptions are billed automatically until cancelled. Pay-as-you-go packs are billed once and never expire. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle; changes never affect periods already paid for.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel a subscription anytime via the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Pay-as-you-go packs can be fully refunded within 7 days if unused — reach us through the contact form.
6. Content and rights
The biblical text comes from public-domain translations (Almeida 1819 in Portuguese, World English Bible in English) or licensed translations. Adaptations you generate are for your personal and educational use; by publishing them in the public library you grant the platform a non-exclusive license to display them to other users with your name anonymized.
The platform reserves the right to remove adaptations that violate these terms.
7. Privacy and personal data (LGPD/GDPR)
We process personal data according to Brazil's LGPD and equivalent privacy laws (incl. GDPR for EU users). We collect only what's needed: name, email, language preference, adaptation history, and minimal subscription data. We don't share your data with third parties except essential infrastructure providers (Stripe for payments, cloud hosting) and where required by law.
At any time you can request access, correction, anonymization, or deletion of your data through the contact form. We respond within 15 calendar days.
For full details — including the data we collect through Sign in with Google, retention periods, security practices, your rights, and how to revoke third-party access — see our privacy policy.
8. Content for children
The platform creates adaptations for children but does not collect data from children. The adult user picks an age range so the text is appropriate, and it's the adult who reads the result to the child or shares it in a trusted environment.
9. Limitation of liability
The platform is provided “as is”. Despite our commitment to automated auditing (AI judge across 5 criteria) and human review, we don't guarantee that every adaptation perfectly matches each user's convictions or tradition. Use your discernment — and when in doubt, keep the original biblical text alongside. We're not liable for interpretations or pedagogical/doctrinal decisions based on our content.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are communicated via email and/or a notice on the platform at least 30 days before the next billing cycle. Continued use after the changes take effect means acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Venue: the user's domicile in Brazil; for users outside Brazil, the courts of Belo Horizonte/MG.
12. How to reach us
Use the form at /contact or email the address listed there. We respond within 48 business hours.
